The Torridon

Monday, 21st April, 2008

The Torridon hotel provides, I believe, the best combination of luxury and location anywhere in the Scottish Highlands. It sits right at the foot of the Torridon Hills (which you can see through the window in the first shot), has great food, and facilities for all kinds of activity. It’s an incredible destination for a wedding (with me as your photographer, of course!).

Here are some shots I took recently for The Torridon’s website:

Erin

Sunday, 20th April, 2008

Erin is one and a half and a cheerful little lass. She dances often, and speaks English with a French accent. We scampered around Inverness for an hour and had a lot of fun. Here are some images of the day (or click here to view Erin’s slideshow)…

The Loch Ness Clansman Hotel

Monday, 14th April, 2008

On the shores of Loch Ness, with probably the most spectacular view of the Loch of any hotel in the area, the Loch Ness Clansman is a fine place to stop, or get married. They needed some images to show what they have to offer and these are some results of our photo shoot.

Wedding Showreel

Sunday, 6th April, 2008

This is the showreel we provide to couples interested in our services. It includes a selection of images from recent weddings set to music. After their wedding clients choosing our luxury options receive their own, personalized showreel on DVD set to music of their choice and uploaded to YouTube if they wish. If you’d like a copy of this showreel, contact us and we’ll send you one.

A Scotsman’s Life

Saturday, 5th April, 2008

This is a tribute to my father-in-law, Alex - a brilliant and proud Scot, and the most incredible grandfather to my son. All images are from the MacKenzie archive; all I did was scan photos and create the slideshow. You might notice a gap of about 25 years between the picture of his children (the little one’s my wife!) and the next picture. He says he wasn’t ignored, he was just a bit busy.
