Colin Campbell - Jewellery Shoot

Thursday, 5th June, 2008

I did another photoshoot for Colin Campbell Jewellers recently. There’s some amazing jewellery, often custom-designed, some antique, at their shop in the Victorian Market in Inverness. All products photographed at our studio.

This is a big hunk of antique uncut opal.

This is an amethyst and diamond ring.

An aquamarine and diamond ring.

And a solid silver and gold napkin ring.

Tom and Alex - Pre-Wedding Shoot

Sunday, 18th May, 2008

Tom and Alex get married in Applecross in September. Getting there is a Lord-of-the-Rings type journey over a high pass and down into verdant valleys. And then hidden away at the end of a dirt track is a magical Walled Garden with a restaurant serving high cuisine made from locally grown produce. That’s where Tom and Alex marry. There will even be a harpist so the whole event promises to be paradise for the senses!

So Alex, Tom and I met last Friday for their pre-wedding shoot, and these are some of the images. They were fantastic fun to be with and photograph. Half way through the shoot Tom cracked open some champagne he’d brought secretly in his back pack and they drank it amongst the bluebells! Click here to see their slideshow.

Colin Campbell Photoshoot

Friday, 9th May, 2008

Colin Campbell & Co. are a family run, fine jewellery business based in the Victorian Market in Inverness. With their new website about to launch they needed images of some of their exquisite antiques. These are the results. If you need an engagement or wedding ring, they should be your first visit. I’ll post a link when their website is up and running.

The Torridon

Monday, 21st April, 2008

The Torridon hotel provides a perfect combination of luxury and location. It sits right at the foot of the Torridon Hills in the Scottish Highlands (which you can see through the window in the first shot), has great food, and facilities for all kinds of activity. It’s a great destination for a wedding.

Here are some shots I took for The Torridon’s website:

The Loch Ness Clansman Hotel

Monday, 14th April, 2008

On the shores of Loch Ness, with probably the most spectacular view of the Loch of any hotel in the area, the Loch Ness Clansman is a fine place to stop, or get married. They needed some images to show what they have to offer and these are some results of our photo shoot.
