Portraits - Our Style
The real aim of a portrait is to capture the spirit of a person in an image. This requires sensitivity and responsiveness, so we stay flexible.
Sometimes an unstructured approach gets great results, other times a more controlled set-up at our studio. Sometimes a sophisticated black and white image on fine-art paper looks fantastic, other times a punchy, colour-saturated glossy print.
We believe the style should fit the person photographed, not the other way around.
So you see a range of approaches in the images on this site, but in all of them we hope you see something of the spirit of the person we're photographing. That's our style!
